Egg Share Agreement *

At HOBo Ranch, we do not wash our eggs because just before laying an egg, the hen adds a protective layer called “bloom” or cuticle to the outside of the egg. This coating seals the shell pores, prevents bacteria from getting inside the shell, and reduces moisture loss from the egg. These are all things designed to make the egg last longer.

I understand that the eggs are unwashed, potentially having matter on the exterior of the eggs

I understand that it is my responsibility to wash the eggs upon use (If you choose to)

I agree not to hold HOBo Ranch or anyone affiliated with this Share responsible

I understand that it is my responsibility to pick up my egg share each week and if I cannot pick-up my share or have it picked up by family member or friend, I will give my farmer 24 hours notice.

Payment will be made via VENMO or PAYPAL at time of pickup on the honor system Venmo: @hoboranch Paypal: hoboranchsv@gmail.com
